Kyoto Drive - This Is All We Ever Wanted

There are points on this debut album when you just get it, plain and simple. You can picture Kyoto Drive playing a small room in a shit town with a bad PA in front of a crowd who are sweating while screaming and shouting each word back to the quartet at deafening volume. Guitars are loose, vocals clash, melodies are rugged and everyone is intoxicated by something or someone. There are moments that capture the spectacle and the promise of their heady pop-punk, but the glimpses are just too few and far between to sustain a full length record. Promising start, but still some way to go.
