Johnny Foreigner - Arcs Across The City

Rating: 8

Johnny Foreigner share more than a passing musical resemblance to fellow Brummies Distophia and, with that band now tragically departed, it could well be up to this merry bunch of musical misfits to bring cascading sonic discordance, break-neck tempos and epileptic shrieking to the masses. If unique selling points are your thing, the interplay between the dual male and female lead vocalists is as excitingly fresh a noise as this reviewer has heard all year. And while, at just six tracks short, this is the briefest of introductions to the band, you get the feeling the chapters are going to be coming thick and fast for this lot very soon.
