Ghost Brigade - ‘Isolation Songs’

Rating: 8

We suspect that somewhere out in the Finnish wilderness there's a genetic laboratory pumping out rockers with technically enhanced motor skills infused with the compositional DNA of Alexi Laiho. In fact it probably looks somewhat like the Terminator assembly line but with long hair, bullet belts and New Rocks. Clearly a none more metal location for forging musical steel, Ghost Brigade specialise in precision riffs that frame dense musical structures, segueing from clinical brutality to melodic beauty in easily digestible form, this follow up to the critically acclaimed 'Guided By Fire' is further proof of Finland's perpetual musical supremacy.
