Fu Manchu - Signs Of Infinite Power

Does the world need another Fu Manchu album? Do women need wardrobes full of shoes and handbags? Probably not in all honesty but frankly the world is a better place for more fuzzed-up riffage without a doubt. If they started to tread water mid-career ‘Signs..’ is definitely a return to form and possesses an urgency and vibrancy not felt with the Fu Manchu for some time. There are no musical surprises here and yet songs like ‘Bionic Astronauts’, ‘Webfoot Witch Hat’ and the title track are fucking class! An album that reminds us just why we loved Fu Manchu in the first place!
