Every Time I Die - ‘New Junk Aesthetic’

Had this album been anything but top-notch, it would have come as a great shock. More shocking still, though, is just how the hell Every Time I Die manage to not only be so consistently awesome, but also impressively up the ante with each release. ‘New Junk Aesthetic’ is a stunning, fifth full-length delivery from the Buffalo quartet. Their trademark blend of Southern rock and hardcore has never before been so well executed. ‘Wanderlust’ is a remarkable, accomplished-yet-disheveled, multi-faceted song, while frenetic first single ‘The Marvelous Slut’ (featuring Greg Puciato) is emblematic of the implausibly anthemic tunes and amazing guitar interplay and riffs that feature throughout.
