Boy oh boy, sometimes you can’t just keep a creative mind at bay and certainly Devin Townsend is a point in question. The second in his four-part DTP series sees old Dev combine his love of rock with some mind-bending pop madness and super human melodies with such a feel good factor it’s unreal. ‘Bend It Like Bender!’ is the best pop rock song of 2010 – fact, it’s a infectious beast reminiscent of Ginger Wildheart’s Clam Abuse project. Anneke Van Giersbergen’s vocals throughout add a new dynamic twist to proceedings and from the get go this is a magnificent and delightful journey!
