Canada Water - One Shot Farewell

Rating: 6

Bournemouth five-piece Canada Water have seemingly waited a year-and-a-half before releasing their debut EP, opting to develop a live fan base over building up a back catalogue. For the most part, ‘One Shot Farewell’ is a selection of perfectly polished pop-punk that’s as fun to listen to as it was to make – cited as documenting the band’s career from their inception to finding their sound in the present day, there’s a real sense of unity, with gang vocals and sing-along choruses aplenty. It could do with being a little catchier, but there’s definitely promise for this quintet.
