It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from this lot. Fortunately though, Boom In The Diamond Industry are back and with a mighty fine debut album to their name. It’s more indie than it is rock, but it’s dancier than your typical guitar band, so you’ll find it pretty difficult to pigeonhole this 10-tracker. Standout tracks are the funktastic ‘Antidote’, the slightly poppier ‘Chasing 5am’ and the electro-tinged ‘Take It Out’, but no two songs sound the same here and ‘Vibe City’ makes for a refreshing listen. Still not sure what to blast out in your car this summer? This would be a fine start.
