After The Fall waste no time in setting out their stall here; ‘Soldiers’ and ‘Ruins’ are a fiery double introduction to the band’s latest full-length record, the followup to last year’s ‘Fort Orange’. The 14 tracks on ‘Eradication’ showcase a band with one foot in the old-school of 80s hardcore punk, all blasting beats and righteous indignation, whilst the other lies in more modern waters and resembles something approaching

Rise Against. With energy in abundance and a very pronounced melodic edge, this is a very tightly wound and highly impressive record that’s definitely worthy of further investigation.
