AC/DC’s Phil Rudd Has Pleaded Guilty To Threatening To Kill

The drummer appeared in court overnight.

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening to kill.

According to a BBC report, the court heard. "he had asked for a former employee to be "taken out" because he was angry his solo album had not performed well."

Rudd's debut solo album 'Head Job' was released last year via Universal.

The drummer had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges - which included possession of cannabis and methamphetamine - but has now changed his pleas to guilty.

The BBC go on to say that Rudd allegedly offered an associate NZ$200,000 (around £100,000), "a motorbike, one of his cars or a house"

Rudd is also alleged to have called the victim threatening to "come and kill you".

He is due back in court with June.
