It Might Be A Little Quiet ‘Round Here Over The Holidays…

We all need a break. Yeah, even us. But while we recharge the batteries, why not take a look at what we've done over the past 12 months, hmmm?

Because it's a) Christmas, b) the New Year (almost) and c) we're all REALLY, REALLY TIRED, Rock Sound is now kinda sorta closed until January 05. Don't worry though, because we'll back in the New Year with fresh eyes and ears to tell you everything about what's to come in 2015.

If you find yourself bumbling around our website over Christmas week, here's a look at what you might find...

The Rock Sound Readers' Poll results are coming!
On Monday, December 22 at 6pm, we'll be unveiling ALL the winners of our Rock Sound Readers' Poll 2014. You voted in your thousands (so, so many thousands!) and we've spent the last week painstakingly counting up all your votes for Best British Band, Best International Band, Best At The Internet... and the rest.

To find out if your favourite bands won, be sure to return to on or after 6pm on Monday, December 22. The results MAY surprise you...

The Rock Sound 2014: Laid Bare video series is coming!
Over the last few months, we've been darting between venues up and down the country, shoving a camera in the faces of your favourite bands, and throughout Christmas week, you'll see the fruits of our labours. Starting on Christmas Eve (that's December 24 if you didn't know), our four-part 2014L Laid Bare video series will see Pierce The Veil, A Day To Remember, Architects, You Me At Six, Mallory Knox, Tonight Alive, Asking Alexandria, Frank Iero, Lower Than Atlantis, Rise Against, Crown The Empire, The Ghost Inside, State Champs, New Found Glory and a bunch of others telling the stories of THEIR 2014.

Want a teaser? Take a look at this...

Need MORE good stuff over the Christmas period? You may have noticed we've been rolling out a load of 2014: Laid Bare review features and photo galleries across the site, where we've been looking back over the last 12 months and cherry-picking the gigs that made our year and the news stories that broke the internet. Catch up with them all at the links below:

Still bored? Buy our magazine. GO ON!
It's in the shops until the New Year, and you can still order a copy from our webstore (or download it for your phone / pc / tablet). Our tip? Get a hold of a copy before Xmas Day so you have something to flick through while you're waiting for that turkey to be served up.

And if you get through all of that, you've done yourself proud. Have a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, or a relaxing non-denominational holiday and we'll see you in January. MOSH!
