And Frank Carter's replacement is none other than...
Gallows have confirmed that former Alexisonfire guitarist and Black Lungs frontman Wade MacNeil is set to replace Frank Carter as the band's new frontman.
Carter announced he was leaving the band during the Sonisphere weekend and played his last show with the group at London's ULU on July 23 [click for pictures].
On August 05 Alexisonfire announced they were splitting and in the statement it was confirmed that MacNeil was "recently asked to join another band and he felt it was an opportunity he would like to pursue."
MacNeil has now spoken about joining the band in this new interview with AP and admitted that Gallows have already written a new song that is "the most brutal thing the band has ever written. It’s just the harshest, heaviest song."

The band have also confirmed a London show at XOYO on December 13. Tickets on sale on Friday August 12.
