Foo Fighters And My Chemical Romance Top Radio 1’s Big Weekend

Two Rock Sound cover bands occupy top billing at the 2011 event!

Foo Fighters and My Chemical Romance have been announced for the Main Stage of Radio 1's Big Weekend 2011.

The two bands will be playing at the event (taking place at Carlisle Airport) on May 14-15 with the Foo's headlining Saturday night and MCR playing the second to last slot on Sunday (just before Lady Gaga closes, you know, as you do).

Joining them will be Pulled Apart By Horses, The Joy Formidable and Panic! At The Disco on the In New Music We Trust Stage.
