"Well, wait until after it gets all managery and lawyery!" says the bassist.
Mark Hoppus has spoken up about what exactly is going on with Blink-182 after their very public fallout with Tom DeLonge earlier this year.
"Tom and I have had trouble back and forth - relationships - forever," he said on the Das Process podcast. "Tom was my best friend for years and years. The thing is, if you think about the people you were friends with at the end of high school and the beginning of college, how many of those people are you still friends with? Not very many. And we've been in the same van and bus and airplane and backstge room and stage for 20-something years."
The band have played shows with Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba in the meantime, and Mark explained how Blink are working through their membership troubles. "We are right now going through what so far has been a friendly divorce with our former guitarist, with Tom. Hopefully things clear up and it doesn't get all managery and lawyery and all that at and we can move forward."
"The love is still there," he continued. "Well, wait until after it gets all managery and lawyery!"
