The video aims to shed light on the reign of violence commited by Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistece Army in Africa.
Vocalist and guitarist Ryan Key explains: "[We've] never had the opportunity to connect our music to something so much bigger than ourselves in such a direct way. Working with Invisible Children for the 'One Bedroom' music video was an incredible experience.
Alexander Collins, Invisible Children's Strategic Partnerships Manager, commented on the collab: "Invisible Children is honored to have been able to partner with Yellowcard on this very sincere project, giving us all a look at the reality of what life is like for people in central Africa, who are still being terrorized by Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army."
'One Bedroom' is taken from Yellowcard's new album 'Lift A Sail' which is due out this coming Monday (October 06).
You can pre-order a copy of the new album here and you can learn more about Invisible Children here.
Pop-punk's elder statesmen Yellowcard have unveiled the first full track from 'Lift A Sail' with USA Today and it's a half-acoustic, half-arena rock banger (although we must say, a bit thin on the violin). Get your chops round 'One Bedroom'.
