You Me At SixYou Me At Six are heading for the Number 4 slot in the midweek charts as fans snap up copies of 'Hold Me Down'.

It seems that the band have sold somewhere in the region of 10,000 copies of their new record but it's not enough to knock Vampire Weekend off the top of the chart as they have sales of 16,000. Standing between the two are Florence And The Machine in second slot and Paolo Nutini third.

Lead singer Josh Franceschi has taken to his Twitter page to thanks fans for their support of the band:

"Today, I realised why I am in a band," he recently posted. "We have amazing people supporting our band, and as cliche as it is, some of the best fans in the world."

Will You Me At Six still be in the top ten come Sunday? We'll let you know. In the meantime pick up the new issue of Rock Sound!
