Umbrella Academy Fast-Tracked To Cinema

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way talks about his comic book series being fast-tracked to the big screen.

My Chemical Romance frontman and father to be Gerard Way has told MTV that his Umbrella Academy movie adaptation is being fast-tracked:

''They want me really involved, which is flattering,'' said Way of the team who are translating the comic series for the big screen. ''So I'm going to be as involved as I can, while at the same time relinquishing control of the stuff. I'd like to be available to them but at the end of the day I'm not going to tell them how to do their job.''
