Blink-182

Blink-182The week was dominated by Blink-182's announcement of their arena dates as well as the news You Me At Six will be supporting them, making for something approaching pop-punk perfection. Excited? We were / are.

On a slightly smaller scale - and no less awesome, we might add - the first-ever Rock Sound Exposure Tour, featuring Dinosaur Pile-Up, The Xcerts and Japanese Voyeurs was unveiled and we also finally revealed who would be supporting Family Force 5 at our Christmas Party in London.

The Get Up Kids revealed the first fruits from their new album while a video of a new song from Rolo Tomassi made its way online, and we also revealed tours from hardcore legends - and creators of one of the year's best albums The Chariot, the mighty Skindred (who will be releasing a new record next year that'll blow your head clean off) and also twinkly winners Maps And Atlases for next year. 2011's already shaping up to be a bit of a peach, it would appear...

Tomorrow brings the first announcement regarding Download 2011, and when / if System Of A Down are announced as headliners you can tell everyone you knew in advance.

We also had good news as A Day To Remember's new album 'What Separates Me From You' charted highly on both sides of the Atlantic and the heroic Make Do And Mend announced their first ever UK tour dates early next year.

Bit of a hectic one, then.
