Exclusive: The Tupolev Ghost Release Their Entire Back Catalogue Online
The Tupolev Ghost release all their material as one lovely big free download.
A year after the band's Fest appearance in Gainesville the ex members of The Tupolev Ghost have decided to release their entire back catalogue online.
If you want to get your hands on the songs (and let's face it, why wouldn't you?) click here.
James Parrish (guitar, vocals) had this to say about the break-up of the band and their decision to release the songs as a free download:
"Recently some of the band got together, Ross (Smithwick) came down from Bridport, Andy (Jenkin) came back from Sweden and we started hanging out again which just felt really good. We're all friends but we weren't going to reform so I just felt that we should draw a line under the band. In our time together, we put together two mini-albums, an EP, the split 12", some demos and photos, along with artwork and a written history as a free download for the site. There's nothing left in the vaults. We only ever toured once and probably broke up just as things were starting to happen for us. Another good reason we're giving away our discography is that barely anyone heard it - everything was a limited release other than the last mini-album. Songs like 'Omar Coming', 'If I Had A Forcefield' and 'Autodidact' were some of our personal favourites, so hopefully other people will enjoy them too. We just wanted to say thank you to anyone who ever supported us or took an interest. We appreciated it then, and we still appreciate it now. This is us giving something back."
Get all their songs ever now!
