According to internet reports The King Blues have pulled out of Slam Dunk Festival.

The King Blues have pulled out of Slam Dunk Festival just days after they were announced for the two date fest.

Itch posted the following message on his Twitter account confirming the rumour:

"A lotta people been asking about slamdunk, I'm afraid it's true, we have pulled out."

No further explanation has been offered at this time, Rock Sound will report any further advances in the story.

Story Update: Itch's baby is due the weekend of Slam Dunk hence the band are cancelling the dates, the band have issued the following statement:

“Hi all. We're very, very sorry to announce that we have had to pull out of this year's Slam Dunk Festival. It's not a decision we take lightly but there was genuinely nothing we could do about it. We had an amazing time last year, with some killer bands and a great atmosphere of fantastic kids and we're gutted we won't get to see this festival evolve into the 2 day mashup it has now become. Sorry to anyone who was planning on watching us and to all involved. Love, The King Blues."
