The Horrible Crowes Confirm Recording Plans
The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon pushes forward with his side-project.
Brian Fallon has confirmed that his Gaslight Anthem side-project The Horrible Crowes will be recording their debut album next month with Ted Hutt, the man who recorded 'The '59 Sound' and 'American Slang'.
"We now have what we call a record," Fallon wrote in a recent blog post. "There's 15 songs written, of which 11 or 12 will be on the record. As of right now we have no title for the album, but we know Mr. Ted Hutt will be producing. We're all flying in from all over the world to meet in my hometown in New Jersey around the last week in April to start pre-production, and we'll actually start recording May 2nd, Lord willing. For once I'm not flying all over the place to work."
The singer has also confirmed that songs from the record will be aired during a few The Horrible Crowes short tours in late Summer and during the Revival Tour in Autumn that he will be playing as a solo artist.
The Gaslight Anthem play Download Festival in June.
