The Bronx To Get Fit For Next Album?
Guitarist Joby Ford tells Rock Sound that the band's next album could come as a shock to fans.
The Bronx guitarist Joby Ford has told Rock Sound that the band's next album might be a bit of a departure for the punk rock quintet:
''We actually just got approached by Nike shoes,'' he admitted recently. ''They want us to write an album that will be downloadable from their website and will be tailor made to a forty-five minute workout. They have this new interactive system and they want us to do an album that people to work out to. When I found out about it I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard, therefore of course we will be doing it. There is no band that speaks of athletic excellence more than us, exercise is always our top priority!''
So what will The Bronx doing a workout album sound like?
''It will either be the most amazing thing you have ever heard or the worst,'' Ford continues. ''Probably both at the same time.''
