Kids In Glass HousesKids In Glass Houses will be attempting to win over the Sonisphere faithful on Saturday with a selection of material designed specifically for a crowd that likes their music heavy.

"We’ve got so many songs now that we can pick and choose very different sets depending on where we are playing," vocalist Aled Phillips told us. "Given that we're at Sonisphere we’ll be inclined to lean the set towards our heavier stuff rather than bringing out all our poppy trumpet jams. I think we’ll play a couple of new ones at the festival, but we'll probably leave our American Nightmare and Glassjaw covers at home though."

After a set at Download a few years ago the band are aware that their Saturn Stage performance might be met with indifference, or perhaps something even stronger. "We didn’t have an amazing reception at Download but you take it with a pinch of salt," he continues. "For every person there acting like a dickhead there is someone who is genuinely interested in checking out bands and seeing what you are all about. We go to these festivals with the same mindset; head out, play your songs well and if you get hit by a bottle suck it up."

"Metaphorically of course," he adds. "I know what’s in those bottles!"

Kids In Glass Houses play the Saturn Stage on Saturday (July 09) at 2.15pm. For all the latest Sonisphere news, photos and reviews stay right on this site. The only other acceptable sites are our Twitter and Facebook pages.
