Linkin Park The first day of Sonisphere is well and truly underway!

Team Rock Sound is on site and doing what we do best; rating the crappers, watching people vomit in the recycling bin and chatting a load of rubbish on Twitter. Oh, and we've been watching a few bands too.

We've also been busy in the press area filming Rock Sound TV (click here and here for some proof) while spotting some surprising curious goings on around the site. So far we've seen...

@DanielPCarter crossing a graveyard to get a cheese and pickle sandwich (they had sold out).

@Swound watching a bit of @Failsafe and telling @RockSound that they will be on the Yo Gabba Gabba soundtrack.

@GeneSimmons (well, perhaps a lookalike) watching @Blakfish from the front. The old man still cares about new music it seems!

@LinkinPark turning up with a separate tourbus for every man on their crew.

@Blackhole's lead singer Rich Carter getting jostled in the pit by a small but overenthusiastic lady. Did he lose his cool? Heck no, he gave her a cuddle at the end of the song. Nice lad.

@CoheedAndCambria arriving on site in a rush after some ferry shenanigans made them miss their original slot.

@GlamourOfTheKill having a hair malfunction during an interview. Poor lads.

Best rumour of the day is that Trent Reznor is having a BBQ tomorrow. Don't think the big man himself will be on the grill, but still, Rock Sound is on the invite blag.
