Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has confirmed to Billboard that he intends to do a solo record.
Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has confirmed to Billboard that he intends to start work on his new solo record at the end of the band's touring cycle for new album 'All Hope Is Gone'. He said recently in an interview:
''I know I have this album that I need to make, and I'm the kind of guy that if I can't get that done then it's going to hold me back from all this other stuff I want to do. I just know I've got to make it or I can't branch out.''
Taylor thinks the music will be a mix of Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash and Social Distortion with some straight hard rock songs thrown in too. To read the full interview click here.
