Alkaline TrioThe people behind Slam Dunk comment on the problems at the southern venue as fans found themselves locked out and missing their favourite bands:

"Apologies to anybody who encountered access problems at the Slam Dunk South event in Hatfield yesterday. An internal investigation is underway and there'll be a more comprehensive statement once we've concluded that.

In the meantime our immediate focus is concentrating on the North leg of the event today, and making sure it's a success."
