Reading And Leeds Sell Out Festival Republic have confirmed that the Reading and Leeds Festival has sold out of weekend tickets on both sites, Reading Festival has sold all day tickets and Leeds Festival is soon to follow. Melvin Benn, MD of Festival Republic, said this about the impressive sales:

''This is the 7th year in succession that both events have sold out within 24 hours of going on sale and I am very very pleased of course. The stature of the events have grown and grown each year and this year’s line up only adds to that. However, I must express caution towards all those who will now try to get their hands on tickets in whatever way they can as they do need to be careful of dodgy sites. The only site I can recommend will be viagogo who will at least guarantee anything they sell.''

Rock Sound asked our Twitter Community if they were bothered about tickets selling out so fast, we got some pretty interesting responses:

''Not bothered, Download looks much better in my opinion''
''Not bothered. Especially not at that price...''
''Heard a rumour ATD-I are playing? that would make me bovvered''
''Not bothered, s'only full of 13 year olds going 'OMGZ THIS IS SO CRAAAAZY N RANDOMMMM OMG'''
''Only bothered if 'prophets and Deftones end up on the same day''
