Reading And Leeds 2010: Paramore Excited To Play Main Stage Sunday
Band looking forward to a great set to help close the festival weekend in style.
Paramore are looking forward to their Reading set after technical gremlins hampered enjoyment of their performance in Leeds.
"Last night wasn't one of our victories," guitarist Taylor York admitted. "Every band has good and bad shows but hopefully we can make up for it tonight."
But, despite the onstage issues the band took heart at the fantastic crowd response to new material from latest album 'Brand New Eyes'.
"New songs have been going down great live, we played 'The Only Exception' last night and we didn't know what to expect as slower songs don't always great at festivals but it got a great reaction, maybe bigger than any other song we played."
For drummer Zac Farro being onsite this weekend has made him realise how far his band have come in the last few years.
"We were last here three years ago and it's strange to be back as the layout is the exact same on both sites," he said. "It makes you feel like you were just here a minute ago as it's all so familiar but so much life has happened in that time it's ridiculous. In a weird way it makes me really proud of what we've achieved."
