Frank Carter tells Rock Sound that life in Gallows is good right now.

Gallows Frank Carter, lead singer of Gallows aka The Rats (come on, worst kept secret, we all knew) has been talking to Rock Sound at Reading 2010 today. Guess what, turns out life is pretty damn decent right now for the singer.

"I'm enjoying playing live for the first time in three years," he said. "I'm tearing shit up these days, there's no pressure, we've talked about it but there's no new album, it's just free right now."

What has caused the singer's change of heart?

"Once you realise that none of this matters, that it's all bullshit, then you're in a good place."
