The Prodigy have been announced for this year's V Festival which takes place on August 21 & 22 at Weston Park, Staffs and Hylands Park, Chelmsford.

Other acts set to play this year's festival include Kings Of Leon, Kasabian, Skunk Anansie, Editors, Florence And The Machine and Shed Seven (woah - now there's a blast from the past).

Also set to play is Cheryl Cole - now you all need to show your support for her after what she's been through, right. Unfortunately, it's unconfirmed as to whether Ashley Cole will be making an appearance. Somehow, we doubt it.
