Pete Wentz Loses Hair

Fall Out Boy bassist gets sheared by Mark Hoppus in New York City.

On Sunday night in New York City Fall Out Boy played their last show for a while as they supported Blink-182 at Madison Square Garden.

The band's night culminated with Blink bassist Mark Hoppus shaving Pete Wentz's hair off during set closer 'Saturday'. The Fall Out Boy bassist had once told Hoppus that he would do anything to get on the tour, including getting a haircut. Unfortunately Hoppus remembered the comment and thus the "death of the emo haircut" occured onstage.

After the event the two former Rock Sound coverstars traded tweets about the incident.

Wentz simply stated "I am more aerodynamic" while Hoppus added "Madison Square Garden, you melted my face off tonight! Thanks for an amazing 4th show in the NYC area! One of the tour's best. #byepeteshair".
