Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz and his wife Ashlee Simpson FINALLY welcomed their baby into the world last night after what seemed like the longest pregnancy of all time.

It was falsely reported that Ashlee had gone into labour last Saturday after Wentz cancelled several television appearances due to "breaking news". However, according to multiple sources, Simpson was taken to LA's Cedars Sinai Medical Center at 5am yesterday morning to induce the birth.

Ashlee gave birth to a baby boy named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, who weighed 7lbs 11oz (3.5kg) and was 20.5 inches long.

A statement said: "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"
