Matt Skiba Announces Solo Project feat. members of My Chemical Romance and AFI!
The good news just keeps coming!

Matt Skiba, irreplaceable frontman of Alkaline Trio (and long-forgotten electronic project Heavens) has announced he's working on a solo project entitled Matt Skiba And The Sekrets.
Oh, the best part? Joining him in the project will be My Chemical Romance drummer Jarrod Alexander and AFI bassist Hunter Burgan.
Speaking of the project, Skiba has said: “Creating a record on my own and deciding who plays and how the songs were structured, it was fun to do. I love working with my band-mates in Alk3 but to make a rock record that was just mine was something that I wanted to do.”
And what will it sound like? Well we've been told to expect dancy, catchy rock in an Alkaline Trio vein, with an '80s punk vibe. We'll take that!
Matt Skiba And The Sekrets' debut album, 'Babylon', will be released through Superball Music at some point this year.
