LostprophetsAfter the excitement of the strong midweek album sales it seems that Lostprophets will have to settle with a Top 3 debut for 'The Betrayed', the band's fourth album.

The band were eventually beaten to the top spot of the Album Chart by Florence And The Machine and Paolo Nutini.

Are Lostprophets disappointed with the result? No. "Number 3, not too shabby in this day n age," commented bassist and producer Stu Richardson on his Twitter.

Guitarist Mike Lewis added the following message: "Massive thanks to everyone that bought The Betrayed this week. Well chuffed with number 3, you guys are awesome. See you all in February!"
