Kids In Glass Houses

Kids In Glass HousesAt the turn of the year Kids In Glass Houses vocalist Aled Phillips graced the cover of Rock Sound as part of our 'We Predict A Riot' feature.

The singer told us that he wanted to his band to be playing arenas and said: "I think we always wanted to be a big band and I find it pointless to mill around in club venues all your life, I want to put on a big show.”

Just six months after that cover the band are taking their first step towards that goal as they support Stereophonics at their massive Cardiff City Stadium show this weekend.

"We've never done a stadium show before and it's amazing that we get to do it with a band that inspired us to form our group," Phillips said recently to Rock Sound. "The show is the kind of thing you always dream of doing when you are growing up and it's awesome that we will be doing our biggest ever show in front of our friends, family and one of our favourite bands. Can't complain really!"

The band's mood ahead of the big show tomorrow? "We're shitting ourselves," the frontman admitted while laughing. Good lads!

Doors to the Stadium open at 3.00pm and Kids In Glass Houses will play at 6.05pm, mop up a ticket here.
