...then KIGH frontman Aled Phillips is certainly up for the fight.
This year Kids In Glass Houses released their excellent third album 'In Gold Blood'.
They stuck their necks out artistically, shunned the path of least resistance and have forced themselves to effectively start from the beginning again. Despite the muted public reception to an incredible piece of work, the band remain proud and will continue to fight for it to be heard in 2012.
"It's a bit of a kick when you can't quite live up to what you've done before. Up until [In Gold Blood] everything was a gradual progression, so it was our first step back," admits frontman Aled Phillips in Rock Sound Issue 156. "If having to go out and play everywhere again is what it takes, then that's what we'll do. It's a case of us believing in the album and the direction we've decided to go in, and wanting to make it work on our own terms."
