Far frontman Jonah Matranga is currently writing a new album and he wants you to play on it. Can't play an instrument to save your life, it don't matter!
"I've written a bunch of tunes, I'm in the thick of tracking them, and I'd love for you to be a part of it," the singer wrote recently. "Due date is sooner the better, given that the record will be out in August. Sometime in the next week or so would be great. No matter what instrument you play (or if you're not a musician at all), you're very invited. If you can record it pro-style, great, but not necessary.
Just get it as good as you can with what you've got. Also, this is not about you being some great musician, it's about participation. Just read the song descriptions and do your best. If you can play all fancy, please do. If you have no earthly idea what you're doing or about keys and meters and stuff, just do that, and it may well fit perfectly somewhere. I love ambient noise."
