GlassjawHevy Fest organisers have confirmed that Kent’s biggest alternative festival will be returning for a third year.

The event will once more be taking place at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Folkstone from August 05 – 08.

Last year’s Hevy Fest featured headline performances from Glassjaw, Gallows, Sepultura and The Subways.

Other acts included the awesome Comeback Kid, The King Blues, Fucked Up, Rolo Tomassi, Trash Talk, Cerebral Ballzy, Chickenhawk, Eaststrikewest, Lower Than Atlantis, Young Guns, Pulled Apart By Horses and Devil Sold His Soul.

Of last year's event Ed Gibbs, frontman with UK metallers Devil Sold His Soul said:
"Hevy festival was rad because there was such a great atmosphere. It had a pretty faultless line up, and all the bands were amazing. We had a lot of friends at the festival, so hanging out was great. I loved the size of the site, you were never far away from a stage, so you never got tired of walking around. It's an exciting new festival, I hope it grows and grows!"

This year’s line up is still yet-to-be announced, but we’ll bring you more information as we get it. For more details, check out festival.hevy.co.uk
