Green DayRock Sound attended the Green Day inspired art exhibition at the StolenSpace gallery in London tonight and managed to grab a quick word with drummer Tré Cool who was at the show meeting fans, drinking wine and buying art.

"I think that having all these artists come up with different ideas about what our songs mean to them is just immense," the drummer said. "That the works are so different in medium and style shows how music can mean such different things to different people."

Cool was also brimming with excitement about the band's UK tour, especially the dates at the O2 Arena.

"We've played a few shows already and it's been fucking mad," he continued laughing. "We play the O2 Arena tomorrow and it's on like Donkey Kong baby!"

Can't say fairer than that really, the remaining tour dates are as follows:

OCTOBER
23 - LONDON O2
24 - LONDON O2
26 - SHEFFIELD ARENA
27 - BIRMINGHAM LG Arena
28 - BIRMINGHAM LG Arena
30 - MANCHESTER MEN Arena
31 - MANCHESTER MEN Arena
NOVEMBER
