Funeral For A FriendFuneral For A Friend frontman Matt Davies tells Rock Sound that he did not want to be a singer when he was growing up:

''I wanted to be a comic book artist,'' he admits. ''I used to like Superman and had Superman wallpaper all over my bedroom. As a kid, that appeals to the realms of fantasy - that you could be larger than life and do things that would make a difference. I went from the mainstream comics into the crazy stuff like Alan Moore's Watchmen, Swamp Thing...''
