Frank Turner Announces ‘The Second Three Years’ and MASSIVE London Show
B-sides and rarities comp slated for November, stupidly massive London appearance set for April...
Frank Turner's plan for world domination has slowly but surely been gaining pace over the last 18 months or so and here's some news that a) we weren't expecting b) you weren't expecting and c) definitely helps him on his way to biggest band-dude-come-solo-dude in the world status:
Frank Turner will play Wembley Arena on Friday April 13 2012. Fittingly titled 'Frank Turner's Friday The 13th', the day is set to be a one-day festival event with some other musical treats to be announced.
Tickets go on sale Friday October 14 and can be ordered from Gigsandtours.com.
Back to the present through, and Frank will release his 'Second Three Years' compilation on November 21. Comprising live tracks, sessions, covers, b-sides and lost songs from the past three years, it's sure to be an essential pick up for even the passing Frank Turner fan. Which is most of you.
Frank also has a run of dates coming up before the year is out, so if you want to see him in a (slightly) more intimate setting than Wembley Arena, get yourself along to one of the following:
NOVEMBER
22 - BOURNEMOUTH Academy
23 - NEWPORT Centre
24 - BIRMINGHAM Academy
25 - GLASGOW Barrowlands
26 - MANCHESTER Apollo
27 - LONDON Hammersmith Apollo
So, to summarise. New(ish) material in November, massive London extravaganza in April. Sweet deal.
