Flood Of Red tell Rock Sound about their dark new material.

Flood Of Red guitarist Calum Doris has admitted the band are starting over after their management company collapsed and their bassist left the band earlier this year.

Faced with an uncertain future the band threw themselves into writing songs for their second album:

"We went in to the studio and just thought we'll see what happens," Doris said. "Before we knew it we were in the studio five days a week writing super heavy and dark songs. There's one song with a riff that is Mastodon heavy, I can't believe we wrote it!"
