Fightstar Collaborate With Lethal Bizzle
Fightstar and Lethal Bizzle collaborate on new track for the new Jägermeister website!
Last Thursday (January 14) Fightstar and Lethal Bizzle went into the Strongroom Studios in London to spend the day (and night) writing and recording a track that will be exclusively streamed on the soon-to-be-relaunched Jägermeister website.
Rock Sound went to have a look in on the session while the drums were being tracked and spoke briefly with Monsieur Bizzle about the collaboration.
"I thrive on things like this," he said. "It's a good excuse to get in the studio and make some music. Lyrically it's gonna be about some war, energetic, dramatic, kick your fucking arse shit, that's what I'm thinking at the moment."
Fightstar bassist Dan Haigh had the following to add about the track's musical direction.
"The feel we were going for was something similar to the Biohazard and Onyx collaboration on the Judgment Night soundtrack," the bassist added. "Something with a fat groove but still really heavy plus we have sprinkled some Prodigy style stuff in there too. The end sounds like Russian tanks, probably some T-72s to be specific."
The as-yet-untitled track will be available to listen to on the Jägermeister website when it relaunches at the end of this month, click on the image below to check out a photo gallery from the studio.
