Exclusive First Play: Devil Sold His Soul ‘The Disappointment’

You saw the trailer earlier this week now Rock Sound brings you 'The Disappointment' in full! That sounds bad, but really it's good!

Devil Sold His Soul start a mammoth UK tour tonight with new bassist Jozef Norocky (formerly of Rinoa), what better way to celebrate than by posting their excellent new video for 'The Disappointment' online?

"We had some great fun shooting this video, it was awesome to do a performance based shoot again," admits drummer Leks Wood. "I think 'The Disappointment' is one of the heavier, more energetic songs off of the record, so it kinda made sense to choose this song for a video. We really hope you enjoy it!"

The clip was directed by Thomas Welsh and animated by Robin Fuller and the band are "really happy with how the video turned out,". According to guitarist Richard Chapple the video "really captures the atmosphere and power of the song and shows us in a different light to what people would expect. Tom and Robin did an awesome job.

The track is taken from the band's exceptional second album 'Blessed & Cursed', a record so good that it landed inside the Rock Sound Top 75 Albums of 2010 in the Number 8 position!
