Rival SchoolsToday Rival Schools frontman and solo artist Walter Schreifels gives his view on the 2010 Election, yeah we know he can't vote but he is a clever man so listen up!

Will you be voting in this year's General Election?
"Well, I can´t vote on account of my US citizenship but I´d be happy to if your government would be willing to make an exception based on the amount of Radio Four I have listen too in the past weeks."

What political issues matter to you and why? Which issues do you think will define this campaign?
"I think people are worried about the ballooning national debt, their National Insurance tax being raised, expenditures cut, redundancies and paranoia about the UK´s declining influence in the world. I think the defining issues will be based on trust. With the recent scandal of MPs racking up posh second addresses and so on the people have lost faith in their leaders. It seems to be a clear choice of lesser evils for most; the devil you know, the one you remember and the one that won´t win. Labour, Tory and Lib Dem respectively."

Finally, which party will you be voting for and why?
"If I were able to vote I would vote Lib Dem as I've coined the phrase 'You can´t Lib with em and you can´t Lib without em' and I want it in Bartletts. Aside from that I believe that a hung parliament with a powerful third voice would be better than the other options, it might really bring out the best in each party to help address the UK´s problems. Go Cleggers!"
