Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me The HorizonSheffield metal mob Bring Me The Horizon are no strangers to the odd airborne bottle at festivals, and they aren’t expecting the notorious Download crowd to be especially forgiving. However, the boys plan on letting their music do the talking this weekend as drummer Matt Nicholls explains:

“We want to get new fans, even if it means us playing Download and getting a bit of stick. It’s one of the reasons we like playing in front of these people, so we can say ‘We’re not as shit as everyone’s told you we are’.”

With so much on offer over the Download weekend, Nicholls encourages those with an open mind to give them a go and leave the preconceptions back at the campsite:
“Just give it a listen and you might like it. If you don’t, fair enough but if you do, that’s cool!’”

Make your own mind up when Bring Me The Horizon play Download’s Second Stage on Friday June 10 at 18.20.
