Young GunsYoung Guns are planning some special guests for their show on the Pepsi Max Stage at Download 2010.

”We are trying to get Brian from AC/DC, Slash and our friend Steven Tyler up on stage with us tonight,” frontman Gustav Wood joked earlier. ”We’re keeping it low key, we’re hopefully going to get Gavin [Butler] from The Blackout and Mr Aled Phillips from Kids In Glass Houses too if all goes well. Hopefully it will add more weight to the rumour that we’re actually Welsh.

We’re going to throw a few new songs in and just try and close the weekend with a bit of style. People are hungover and sunburnt but we’re going to keep spirits high and send them off well.”

All in all, a good end to an incredible week that started with the band supporting Bon Jovi at the O2 Arena in London.

”To play to a crowd that size, that would not usually listen to us and have such a positive response was wonderful. A bit of a dream night playing that venue with that band, still can’t take it in.”
