AirbourneAirbourne have wrapped up their second full length album ‘No Guts No Glory’, out now on Roadrunner, and are all set to hit Download Festival in June.

Frontman Joel O’Keeffe caught up with Rock Sound mid-tour to talk about the festival - and his apparent love of piss:

“We’ve played Donnington before and it’s hallowed ground for us! It’s been going for 30 odd years, and it’s one of the most awesome places in the world! There are just fields of grass, mud and blood and you crack it up to 11 and just get into it! Every year those fields get soaked with alcohol, piss, and rock and roll. It’s the best place to be!”

Of the other band’s on the bill he added: “I’m really looking forward to seeing Cindarella, Aerosmith, ACDC, Ratt, Billy Idol and Motorhead. I love those bands!”

Don’t we all!
