Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman has been telling Rock Sound about his burgeoning remix workload and a strange collaboration:

''I did a remix of the Lil Wayne track 'Lollipop' but I'm not sure if it is coming out,'' he tells us. ''That beat got so played and remixed so his record label did not want to put out mine and it get lost. They are actually going to send me the Jay Z Lil Wayne track way upfront so I should be one of the first remixes of that track hopefully. They want Lil Wayne to get rock press, he loves rock, Kurt Cobain is his favourite artist. He loves to play guitar but he is horrible at it, another part of the deal is that I teach him how to play guitar.''

You heard it here first. Lil Wayne in a future issue of Rock Sound? Possible.
