Dillinger Escape PlanDillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman has spoken to Rock Sound about the band's new album 'Option Paralysis' and the persistent rumour of a certain special guest appearance.

"A lot of people are asking me if Trent Reznor is going to be on the record because we've been seen hanging with the guy a few times of late," he told Rock Sound.

However, Weinman has some bad news for fans hoping that the Nine Inch Nails mainman will collaborate with Dillinger on their fourth album.

"People are always trying to bleed that guy dry, the fact that we’ve built some kind of relationship that’s real is more important than trying to use every single contact we have to boost Dillinger because that’s never what we’ve been about. Honestly I don’t even want to think about recording with him at the moment, he just finished touring, he’s about to get married, I’m really happy that he can be a real person now for a little bit and start another life. In time I’m sure we’ll work together though, it's just not right now."

EDIT: Pictures from Reznor's wedding have been posted online, click here to check them out.
